PAF slams agent culture, corruption in ARTO office Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Jan 24: Renowned political and social activist and President Public Awareness Front (PAF) Shakir Saddiqui in his press statement issued here today lamblasted the transport department headed by ARTO Kishtwar, one of the remotest District of Jammu Division alledging corruption is at its peak in the department.
Saddiqui further added that rash driving of motercyles, scooties,magic, eco, crusiors,tempo from new DC Kishtwar to Bus stand has become a threat for all commutors.
He said that the employees of ARTO office Kishtwar are creating mess by providing a space to open sale of driving licenses and are working from 10 years in one place with out transfer.
He said that ARTO and traffic police are not doing their jobs sciencerly added that they are busy in minting money instead of streamlining the system. He said that it is the duty of the parents too to educate their children's regarding rash driving, moreover called on ARTO Kishtwar for collaboration with traffic police should launch awareness drive at school levels to educate children's about the consequences of Rash driving.
More PAF President appeals the concerned authorities to install nakas and random checking on main road and near tution centers on regular basis otherwise the poor and aged commutors are continuously to be in danger. He also called upon the Principal Secretary Transport to post full fledged ARTO at Kishtwar instead of promoting additional charge syndrome.
