| VBCE Organises Extension Lecture | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: Vishwa Bharti College of Education Udheywalla Akalpur organised Extension lecture on New Educational Policy 2019 and its impact on B.Ed. The main speaker on the occasion was Prof. L.S.Sodi Associate Professor Department of history and coordinator B.Ed University of Kashmir.
He spoke on use of technology in the teaching programmes especially the new Gadgets need available to the teachers. Prof.Sodi spoke on the practical trainings making of small tools charts an import part Teachers Training Programme. Emphases was laid on the explanation and discussion on the projects.
Prof. Sodi during his lecture mentioned that it is not the marks that one scores in the examination but also the practical part I.e Practice of Teaching. Exhibition of teaching aids at the end of the session and conversation/interaction with the students are equally important.
Prof. A.N.Sadhu Chairman Academic Committee in his lecture emphasised on the body language of a teacher in the class, a teacher should go with the positive energy in the class and enjoy teaching. A teacher with negative energy can hardly do justice to the students. He emphasised that different educational teaching methods should be adopted depending upon the class he is teaching.
Pooja Chib described in detail the chapter on teacher education as mentioned in the new Educational Policy. Rabiya Gupta described the essential ingredients of technology in the 2019 Educational Policy.
Dr. S.K.Koul Secretary Vishwa Bharti Units J&K chapter summarised all the programme and spoke on the history of teacher education in Vishwa Bharti in the last 39 years.
