"POJK" the unfinished agenda of Bharat
2/27/2020 1:01:50 AM

Ronik Sharma

Pakistan has not vacated the territories of Bharat even after seventy three years have elapsed, the Pakistan illegally entered into the sovereign state of Jammu and Kashmir since 1947. It was a planned strategy by the Pakistan to capture the larger portion of the sovereign state of Jammu and Kashmir. The J&k state was administratively composed of four regions i.e Jammu,Kashmir,Ladakh and Gilgit-baltistan. Pakistan regular army with their well trained hired agents had started aggression in these areas by plundering and looting the minority houses. They trampled over the homes and hearths, outraged the modesty of the women and compelled women folk to commit collective suicide to save their chastity and modesty and others who were enough fortune and had a narrow escape come to this side of the state. The involuntary displacement due to Pakistani external aggression forced lakhs of innocent people to flee from violence hit region and there was blatant violations of human rights. Pakistan illegally captured three major regions namely Mirpur, Muzzaffarabad, Gilgit and baltistan in this external aggression one third of the total area of state of Jammu and Kashmir is still under the illegal occupation of Pakistan. The then Maharaja who was sovereign head had acceded to Bharat and fully merged the state of Jammu and Kashmir unconditionally signed instrument of accession .On October 26, 1947 State of Jammu and Kashmir acceded to Bharat legally and constitutionally. Bharat never gave up it's claim on the region, though Pakistan has the illegal control over PoJK. Bharat had passed a resolution on 22 February ,1994 :
1. The state of Jammu and Kashmir has been is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means
2. India has will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity and demands.
3. Pakistan must vacate the areas of the India state of Jammu and Kashmir, which they have occupied through aggression and resolves that
4. All attempts' to interfere in the internal affairs of India will be met resolutely
The Resolution was unanimously adopted.
Pakistan has no locus standi in Jammu and Kashmir and it's illegal forcible occupation over the area of Indian territories from the past seven decades is a gross violation of the international law. From the past so many years Pakistan has raised several terrorist camps in these areas and trained many terrorists for infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country. The people who are living are also fed-up from these terrorists activities, camps and their organisations and also facing many atrocities and discrimination under Pakistan's rule. Therefore the situation in pojk is alarming and it needs world' attention. Pakistan must vacate the areas of POJK which it has illegally occupied and hand over the same to Bharat being a legitimate claimant of the area or Pakistani's must be ready to face the music. Finally, Indian armed forces intervention is required to regain the lost territories of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us all pledge that all Indians will not rest till the lost territories retrieved back.
