Indo-US Joint Statement slap on Pak’s face
‘Terrorism won’t be tolerated, both countries committed to eradicate terror’
2/27/2020 1:03:35 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Feb 26: The Joint Statement issued by India and United States after President Trump’s recent visit is a clear message to Pakistan that terrorism has no place in the civilized world.
The statement made it clear that India and United States are committed to fight terror and eradicate the menace once for all.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “President Trump’s assertions and the Indo-US joint statement should serve as an eye opener for the neighbouring country. President Trump also made another thing clear that he is ready to help India and Pakistan if he is asked to do so. He punctured the mediation narrative being propagated by Pakistan.”
He said, “Ones who used to claim that United States is supporting Pakistan and is trying to meddle in Kashmir have been left red faced. The bonhomie between the US President and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, was clearly visible. President Trump minced no words to drive home a point that he enjoys a very cordial relationship with Prime Minister Modi and both are committed to protect their citizens from any act of terror or violence.”
An observer said, “President Trump’s exclusive visit to India is a message to Pakistan that India and United States enjoy a special relation and the most powerful man (Trump) in the world preferred India over Pakistan.”
He said, “Terrorism and defence deals dominated the talks between the two leaders and major pacts were signed during Trump’s visit. India acquiring modern weaponry is a clear message to the world that India is becoming stronger with each passing day and there is no looking back.”
Another analyst said, “Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, who keeps on bragging about his country enjoying good relations with the United States, needs to wake up and smell the coffee. If he fails to control his army and the spy agency ISI, his country will cease to exist and will disappear from the world map.”
He said, “Assertions of President Trump have endorsed the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi against terrorism and his resolve to eradicate the menace once for all. Neighbouring country needs to be aware of the fact that if it indulges in any sort of misadventure it will end up in a soup.”
