| Police seized JK Excise liquor, two arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 2: Taking stringent action against illegal sale and transportation, district Police Jammu in two separate incidents seized 150 small bottles (quarters) of JK Excise liquor and arrested two bootlegger. Team of Police Station Domana headed by SDPO Domana Kosheel Koul and SHO, Inspr. Chanchal Singh while on naka duty in the jurisdiction apprehended one bootlegger namely Nand Kishore and seized 81 bottles (quarters) of JK Excise liquor and two beer canes from his possession. A case has been registered FIR No. 70/2020 U/S 48-A Excise Act against the accused and investigation taken up.
In another case, a team of Border Police Post Gajansoo headed by I/C PP, ASI Sanjeet Singh under the supervision of SHO Police Station Kana Chak, Inspr. Ravi Singh Parihar while on naka duty at Bhola Chak apprehended one bootlegger namely Sikander Lal, Jammu and seized 59 bottles (quarters) of JK Excise liquor from his possession which he was carrying to earn illegitimate profit.
