NIA Court frames charges against Narco Terrorists gang

Jammu, Mar 2: Special Judge NIA Subash C Gupta today framed charges in much publicized narco terrorists gang.
According to NIA case that on the intervening night of July 8 and 9, 2018, Mohd Yousaf Khawaja and co- accused Mushtaq Ahmed Malik and Shabir Ahmed Gakhad were intercepted by the joint Nakka party of the police and BSF contingents at Said Pora Dhani Junction District Kupwara , while traveling in a vehicle having Regd No JK05-A 4359, being driven by co-accused- Shabir Ahmed Ghakad and on search of the vehicle , two/ AK-56 Rifles , two numbers of AK 56 Magazines & 56 live cartridges were recovered. At the same time, another vehicle having Regd No JK09-8135 , being driven by accused Zakir Hussain Mir and wherein, accused Rafiq Ahmed Magray , traveling was also intercepted by the afore referred joint Nakka party and on search , twelve packets of brown sugar were recovered. They were arrested and the vehicles were seized on spot.
On joint interrogation of the co-accused , they disclosed the names of other members of their Narco Terrorists Gang and on July 21, 2018 were arrested and on search of the house of accused- Alam Bhat alias Alam (A5), two UBGLS Grenades were recovered, whereas ten live cartridges of AK-56 were also recovered on search of the house. Court after hearing both the sides framed charges u/s committed offences under sections 13,18, 20 & 23 UA(P) Act, 35,7/25 A Act, 8/21 NDPS Act & 4/5 Explosive substances Act r/w Section 120- B of RPC againsty Mushtaq Ahmed Malik , Shabir Ahmed Gakhad , Zakir Hussain Mir, Rafiq Ahmed Magray, Alam Bhat alias Alam and Mohammad Yousaf Khawaja.
