UDHAMPUR, Mar 8: In order to make people aware about the issue of Corona virus DDC Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla interacted with media persons at Udhampur here today.
Dr Singla said that District Administration Udhampur is well prepared to deal with spread of Corona virus. In this regard he informed that isolation ward in District Hospital and every sub district hospitals have been established. A medical centre is established at Railway station to screen the visitors.
DDC appealed public not to panic and also warned rumor mongers that strict action will be taken against them. DDC asked that if someone has travel history to foreign country especially affected country or have some symptoms they should come forward and get them medically examined. DDC asked the public to follow the advisories issued by government from time to time.
Chemist shops inspected in Udhampur to check prices, availability of masks, sanitizers
UDHAMPUR, MARCH-08: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla, ADDC and Tehsildar Udhampur inspected chemist shops in Udhampur town to check on the prices and availability of sanitizers and masks.
