| Peep out to see how common man is suffering: Munish to officials | | Residents of Shumali Mohalla blame elected leaders, indifferent administration for their miseries | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 9: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Monday slammed the authorities for failing to address the issues being confronted by the residents of Shumali Mohalla in old Satwari area here.
Munish, who would contesting the forthcoming assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, said,
“Residents of Shumalli Mohalla have been facing multiple problems. It’s unfortunate that the people whom they voted for in the past have left them in lurch. The indifferent attitude of the authorities has added insult to their injuries.”
Munish said, “Leaving common people in lurch is a huge negligence on the part of the part of the people sitting in big offices and delivering sermons. The officials need to peep outside the windows of their posh offices and see how a common man is suffering in absence of basic amenities.”
The Editor in Chief Early Times urged the administration of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to direct its officials to act and mitigate the sufferings of the common people. Meanwhile, residents of Shumali Mohalla while talking to Early Times said that they have been facing several civic problems including dilapidated road, which has virtually turned into a “pool of mud.”
They informed that defunct drains have multiplied their woes. |
