One arrested under POCSO Act 3/11/2020 9:29:06 PM Samba, March 11: District Police Samba succeeded in the arrest of accused wanted under POCSO Act case registered by Bari Brahamana. According to sources on the basis of a written complaint filed by father of victim minor girl a case FIR No. 29/2020 U/S 363/109/376-D IPC, 3/4 POCSO Act registered at PS Bari Brahmana. “A written complaint was received at Police Station Bari Brahmana by one man (name withheld) stating his daughter who is studying in 12th class has been kidnapped by Mohd. Javed and Mohd. Zahid while she was on the way to home after her practical exam. Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 29/2020 U/S 363/109 IPC was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started. Special team was constituted to recover the kidnapped girl well as to arrest the accused persons. Based on the leads developed during the investigation, kidnapped girl was recovered and one of the main accused namely Mohd. Javed was arrested from Sarore area.
