| BVPJKP celebrates Womens day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 14: Bharat Vikas Parishad Jammu Kashmir Prant (BVPJKP) today celebrated the International Women day at Ved Mandir Jammu.
The programme started with the traditional lightening of the lamp and recitation of Vande Matram. Deputy Mayor JMC Purnima Sharma was the Chief Guest and she spoke for the upliftment of women in the society.
Neena Gupta, Corporator W. No. 51 was the guest of honour. Amita Sharma Prant President B VP J&K gave the welcome address. Dr. Aarushi Sharma gave the health tips from Ayurvedic Stream. Dr. Raj Kumari also spoke on role of women in maintaining ethics. Dr. Santosh Gupta gave the detailed account of the role of women in BVP.
Prof. Sarita Kohli also spoke on various social problems like divorce etc. Anju Bansal also spoke on women awareness on domestic violence. The programme was conducted by T.C. Tagger State General Secretary and Smt. Seema Sharma Convener Bal & Juba.
Other prominent members attended the meeting are D.R. Sharma, Shivam Sharma, Arun Sharma, Vanita Kohli, Jyotna Sharma Gopal Sharma, Trishala Gupta, gave the vote of thanks. The programme ended with the recitation of National Anthem. |
