| Hotel, restaurant owners appeal govt to resume Vaishno Devi pilgrimage | | |  Early Times Report
Katra, Mar 19: Hotel and Restaurant representatives have appealed the government to resume the pilgrimage very soon even if the flow of tourists should be decreased as being done in Tirupati temple.
A meeting of representatives was held today wherein President of the Association Rakesh Wazir, Chairman Shyam Lal Kesar, Former Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma, Former MLA Baldev Raj Sharma, Sr. Vice President of the Association Virender Kesar besides others were also present.
During the meeting the recent development pertaining to stoppage of Vaishnodevi Yatra was discussed in detail and the representatives present over there said that it was for the first time in the history that Vaishno Devi Yatra is stopped and prayed the almighty Maa Vaishnodevi ji and urged the authorities that it be resumed soon may be with less numbers as is being done by Tirupati Temple Trust after taking all precautions. |
