JAMMU, Mar 19: Deputy Mayor Adv. Purnima Sharma flagged off the manual fogging in ward no. 1 as a preventive measure against this coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
The initiative was initiated in ward no. 1 by Deputy Mayor in collaboration with the Health Department as this will lower the chances of spreading COVID-19 as there will be spraying of medicine/pesticides in the air in order to kill the COVID-19.Manual spraying was initiated in different lanes of ward no. 1 for the welfare of the local public.
Deputy Mayor also urged the locals to stay indoors and not participate in large gatherings or crowded places as it will increase the chance of spreading this epidemic.
With the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Deputy Mayor appealed to keep all the frequently touched household surfaces like door handles, phones, mobiles, remotes, etc germ free.
Health Officer, Dr. Shamim along with his team of Sanitation Supervisors and Inspectors, Officials from Health Department, ShubhLata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Smt. Sukh Devi, Kamla, Rajni, Neha, Vandana, Santosh Kumari, Guddi Devi and other prominent members of the ward were also present along with Deputy Mayor. |
