Health department responds pregnant lady's call, shifted her to Hospital

Kishtwar, Mar 26 : Team of Kishtwar Health Department under the overall supervision of BMO Kishtwar Dr. Ghanshyam Singh today acted swiftly on the call pertaining to immediate shifting of a pregnant lady who had develop labour pain and required immediate medical attention. As per the details available with Early Times, the patient belong to Panchayat Anjole of block Thakrie, some 20 KM from Kishtwar. The family members of the pregnant lady who was suffering from labour pain brought the matter into the notice of local female Sarpanch who swiftly acted by bringing the matter into the notice of BMO Kishtwar. As due to total lockdown over Corona Virus epidemic, BMO Kishtwar on receiving phone call for help from Sarpanch Disha Devi immediately rush the Ambulance to Seergwari from where the said lady was taken to hospital. Meanwhile Sarpanch Anjole Disha Sharma thanks the District Health Department for providing essential services to the poor pregnant lady at door step which was also appreciated by people of Block Thakraie of Kishtwar District . She said that the lock down in whole area of Kishtwar is beneficial for whole community added that people should cooperate with administration in this regard. She also underline the importance and role of PRIs in making the people aware about the Corona Virus epidemic and urged the people to brought the matter into the notice of PRIs as and when they required any kind of the help.
