Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 26: Welcoming the countrywide lockdown announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP General Secretary, Mahila Morcha, Jammu West, Reema Padha on Thursday said that staying home is the only medicine to fight deadly Corona Virus pandemic.
"Prevention is better than cure and lockdown is the best option to prevent Corona Virus from spreading it further," Reema said here in a statement.
Lauding the Prime Minister for taking best remedial measure, she further added, "people need to understand that the less we socialise at this juncture, more safer we are and by implementing social distancing, staying home and following guidelines issued by the government from time to time, we can fight against the pandemic."
"Yes, united we stand but this time not with our physical presence but by staying in our homes, supporting the cause," she said and appealed to the people to stand by everyone, for self, people of the country because this war cannot be won alone.
"Every bad phase passes on and this shall also pass but all we need to do is to stay calm, not panic and take care of everyone by following all precautions," she appealed and said that the decisions taken by the Centre Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi are in the interest and welfare of the society and every citizen of the country.
