Deputy Mayor conducts sanitization drive

Jammu, Apr 15: Amid the 21 days Lock Down in India to fight the COVID-19, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today conducted fogging drive, disinfectant drive and sanitization drive in ward no. 1, 2 and 3 along with CouncilorJagdish Kumar and CouncilorNarrotam Sharma.
The drive started from Radio Station Chowk in ward no. 1 covered ward no. 2 and 3 also. During the drives, machine fogging was conducted along with the spray of disinfectant on all the roads, lanes and buildings in order to sanitized and disinfect them.
These drives are being conducted as a preventive measure to stop the spread of Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). During the drive, Adv. Purnima Sharma also addressed the needs of the locals and also conducted inspection of wards 2 and 3 along with concerned Hon’ble Councilor.
Further Adv. Purnima Sharma appealed to the locals as well as migrants living in ward 1, 2 and 3 to stay indoors and cooperate with the efforts of Government and Police that are trying their best to stop the further spread of this pandemic.
During the drive, Gulshan (Sanitary Supervisor), Rajneesh Sharma (Sanitary Supervisor) along with their team of Sanitary staff, ShubhLata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Sunita Wazir, Karan Singh, Deepak and other prominent citizens of the ward no. 1, 2 and 3 were also present.
