| Transformer burnt, Middle Naka Manjhari without power for 2 months | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Apr 26: With the burning of transformer in Middle Naka Manjhari village of Sub Divsion Mendhar the consumers are without power for the last two months. People of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due to no light during these days when their children are taking final examinations, are repeatedly approaching the senior PDD officers but to no avail. Sarpanch Saife Ahmed Khan said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads etc. They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar to immediately replace the burnt transformer and provide light to the consumers.
