SRINAGAR, Apr 26: Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Asgar Hassan Samoon has gone all out to expose wrong doing in his department.
For the last few days, he made several Tweets about the wrong doings in the Education Department.
“Under CSS Samagra, Rs 400 crore lying unspent with directors/ ceos/ zeos/ MHs/ teachers; SPD may try to expedite expenditure on ground in next 4 weeks; Rs 870 crore of funds released by MHRD last year lying with finance; SPD to follow up releases; more GoI expected soon,” he Tweeted. In another Tweet, he said, “Under languishing projects; bills for Rs 10 crore uploaded and paid; unspent balance of Rs 80 crore; DSEK / DSEJ to follow up with PWD Department and school engineering wing to expedite works.”
“Some government officials posted in higher secondary schools managed to overstay for a decade in Srinagar and Jammu cities in league with ex-politicians. They run private tuitions and side businesses. They should be shifted to break their nexus with land mafia and to give them exposure to remote areas!” he Tweeted.
