Jammu, Apr 26: The Mahila Morcha team of BJP under its initiative ‘Feed The Needy’ on Sunday distributed dry ration and masks among needy families in Shakti Nagar area of Jammu West. The distribution of essential commodities was made by BJP Office Secretary, J&K Reema Padha alongwith another leader Sneh Lata Seth. “Continuing little bit, in the midst of ongoing pandemic, my mission is simple that ‘No One Should Sleep Hungry,’ Ms Padha here told reporters. She added that as a part of drive ‘Feed The Needy’, PPE (Handmade-Masks), Sanitizers and Dry Ration packets were provided to nearly 50 needy families of Rajpura and Shakti Nagar locality. “During door to door visit along with Ms Seth, we encouraged individuals to practice social distancing and use of PPE, otherwise all efforts of fighting against pandemic will go in vain,” she added. Ms Padha further appealed to people to wholeheartedly and religiously follow the guidelines and advisories being issued time to time by the government adding, “the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government in the Centre is trying its best to fight against the COVID-19 and reach every household especially the needy during the lockdown with all assistance and help.”
