| 5 litres illicit desi liquor seized, 840 litres of lahan destroyed | | |

SAMBA, Apr 26: In a major blow to nefarious designs of illegal manufacturing and sale of illicit liquor, District Police Samba seized 5 litres of illicit desi liquor and destroyed 840 litres of lahan at village Radwan, Ramgarh.
Acting on a reliable information about sale of desi liquor in Radwan area of Ramgarh, a Police Party of Police Station Ramgarh headed by SHO Ramgarh launched a massive search in & around the village Radwan and found about 840 ltrs of lahan and desi liquor stored in drums and tins buried under the fields.
The recovered 5 litres of desi liquor was seized while 840 litres lahan was destroyed on the spot.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 48/2020 U/S 48 Excise Act registered at P/S Ramgarh and investigation started. |
