COVID-19: Swasthaya Nidhi App for health audit
District admin Rajouri organises training programme for master trainers

RAJOURI, APRIL 27: To ensure the successful collection of health data of every household in the district amid COVID-19 through Swasthya Nidhi application, the district administration Rajouri under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today organised a day long training programme for 36 master trainers.

Swasthya Nidhi is a survey app to track suspicious COVID-19 patients and to take timely action. It is an integrated health audit & intensive screening framework designed to collect the health data of individuals from every household in J&K. The data after collection will be scanned by medical teams to take requisite action for preventing the spread of the virus.

Speaking on the occasion, District Informatics Officer, NIC Rajouri familiarised the participants about the technical know-how of the app and they were directed to educate the concerned BLOs in their respective areas regarding the use of the Swasthaya Nidhi app.

Deputy Commissioner while addressing the participants said that it is a unique initiative of the Government which will help us to contain the spread of COVID-19. He appealed to public of the district to come forward and cooperate with survey teams visiting their door steps.

He stressed upon the participants to work with zeal and dedication in these circumstances for achieving desired results.

The DC informed that various teams have been constituted to perform the health audit of all the citizens of the district. The teams will capture health status of each and every person in the district and will also aware the people about the installation and use of Arogya Setu app, use of masks and other precautionary measures to be taken to contain spread of the COVID-19 in the district. He further added that this app will help to identify the symptomatic people and medical teams will check and advise them time to time.

He also said that the progress regarding the uploading of data on the app shall be monitored at the highest level on daily basis. He asked the participants to encourage the general public to install the Arogya Setu App in their mobiles which is easily available on google play store. He added that Arogya Setu app helps the people to remain updated them about the pandemic and also helps them in self assessing themselves regarding COVID-19.

He also called for devising a robust mechanism for door to door survey under Swasthya Nidhi app. He directed officials to make the survey more informative and comprehensive as it would become a ready database for future health-related information and welfare schemes. He exhorted upon the officers to complete the exercise within shortest possible time.

Among the others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohd Ashraf, Deputy District Election Officer, Rizwan Asger, District Informatics Officer NIC, Muzaffar Mir, Additional District informatics Officer, Ashwani Sharma, District Panchayat Officer, Dr Abdul Khabir and District Information Officer Narinder Raina were present on the occasion.
