Jammu, May 11: Chairman OBC Deptt, PCC J&K Suresh Kumar Dogra attended online video conferencing with Home Minister Chhatisgarh as well as National Chairman OBC AICC T D Sahu and briefed him over the handling of situation by Centre & UT Administration in amidst spread of Covid 19.
Dogra at the outset of Video Conferencing gave feedback to AICC Chairman about the overall situation obtaining in the backdrop of the lockdown. He said that it was worth mentioning that the initiative of Congress President Sonia Gandhi to provide rail fare to the migrant labourers was hailed by common masses, besides putting the Govt at defensive, as that, the Centre has not been able to do anything for Stranded Laboures except making baseless statement and false promises.
The OBC Deptt is performing its duty in well mannered to help the needy to provide them essential commodities to their door steps either on District level, Block or ward level. The OBC Deptt. JKPCC is always remains ready to support Control Room formed by the Parent body ,some Help lines numbers are also launched to help the Stranded Labourers and Students outside J&K as well as inside J&K intended to move their native states are also being possibly Guided and helped by the OBC Deptt.
