COVID 19: 1011 persons under home quarantine, 140 under administrative quarantine in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, May 11: With the increase in influx of labourers and students from different parts of the country, the number of people presently under different stages of quarantine has increased in Kishtwar District with each passing day.
As per the details available with Early Times, the number of people arriving from different parts of the country as well as from Jammu district has shown significant increase with 200-300 people daily arriving at Kishtwar and administration is taking all precautionary measures to continue its fight against COVID 19 commonly known as Corona Virus in Kishtwar district.
The official document available with Early Times reveals that 1275 persons are at different quarantine stage and in Kishtwar Medical block 60 persons are under active surveillance, 118 persons under administrative quarantine and 1011 persons under 570 persons are under home quarantine while at the same time there is no one presently under Hospital Quarantine.
In Medical block Chatroo over all 129 persons are under Home Quarantine, 35 under surveillance and 3 persons are under administrative quarantine.
In Medical block Padder, 289 persons are under home quarantine, 24 persons are under active surveillance who no one is under Administrative Quarantine.
In Medical block Dachhan, 23 persons are under home quarantine and 5 persons under active surveillance while no person is under administrative Quarantine in Dachhan block.
All the persons under administrative quarantine were kept at Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel Chatroo (3), Himalayan Cultural Society Padder (19), BVM HSS Kishtwar (33), University Campus Kishtwar (11), CISF building Semna colony (3), Balniketan School (12), HSS Drabshala (40), NHPC Bursar House (10) and DIET Kishtwar (9)
Speaking to Early Times, the officials in District Administration Kishtwar said that next few days are crucial as more labourers are arriving from different parts of the country beside transportation of people stuck in different Districts of J&K had also began . He said that administration is ensuring 100% testing of all the labourers arriving at Kishtwar added that all those under administrative quarantine are healthy while at the same time their health parameters are regularly being monitored.
