| AJKLTF demands PPE kits, insurance cover for teachers posted at quarantine centres | | |

Kathua, May 11: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation has demanded PPE kits and insurance cover for the teaching staff deputed at various Quarantine centres across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Shiv Dev Singh State Secretary of the Federation in a press release issued here today said that the teachers are playing a vital role in tackling CORONA virus as a front line warriors. Many teachers across the UT are engaged in various assignments which included deputation at Quarantine centres, conduct of Swasthya Nidhi Survey, Awareness activities, etc.
He said that the teachers are performing the assigned duties with utmost zeal, enthusiasm, sincerity as front line workers daily for six to twelve hours without caring about themselves. He urged the Lieutenant Governor of J&K UT that the teachers engaged at different quarantine centres across the UT must be provided PPE kits and insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh as par with other employees of the state.
