7 active fresh positive cases, 02 recovered in north Kashmir

BARAMULLA, May 22: Seven fresh positive cases were reported, 124 are active positive cases and 02 have been recovered in north Kashmir, while as 07 persons of Bangalore were discharged today from TRC Salamabad Uri. Providing district-wise breakup, it said that 01 fresh positive cases were reported in Bandipora, 08 are active positive cases while 01 has also recovered and 01 death has occurred so for, in Baramulla 03 fresh positive cases were reported, 37 are active positive cases and 04 deaths have occurred so for, and in Kupwara 03 fresh positive cases were reported, 79 are active positive cases and 01 have recovered today. Meanwhile sources said that, seven persons of (Tabligi Jamat) belongs to Banglore were discharged today after long stay of 57 days because of continues lockdown. Due to long stay their Covid samples has been taken two times during this period and tested negative from quarantine centre TRC Salamabad Uri. In charge quarantine center TRC Salamabad Uri Tariq Hashim oversaw their discharge and transportation to them up to Jammu. The group like all others before them was under through medical supervision period and was discharged after clearance from doctors and health authorities with the strict directions to remain in home quarantine. Moreover 75 people in administrative quarantine Shahkote, 10 in TRC Salambad Uri and other reports are still awaited. Pertinently Eight persons of (Tabligi Jamat) belonging to Mumbai were discharged from Tourist Reception Center Salamabad Uri on May 20. They were there because of the nationwide shutdown due to the present pandemic; yes eight persons were discharged after their Covid samples turned negative from quarantine centre TRC Salamabad Uri. However mask being an important preventive gear, Deputy Commissioner, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza on friday issued the order for making wearing of face mask mandatory in all public places in the district from today, while as 7 Bangalorians discharged from TRC Salamabad Uri
