| Construction of lanes, drains kick started in Nanak Ngr’s Sec-3 & 5 | | |

JAMMU, June 22: Councilor Ward No 42 Vijay Choudhary along with Choudhary Manmohan Singh, former Mayor Jammu toured Sec-3 & Sec-5 Nanak Nagar today and started the construction work of lanes and drains of the area in the presence of local residents. The new lane starts from house of Sansar Singh to AEE Narinder Kumar's house.
Vijay Choudhary on the occasion informed the residents gathered about her detailed plan of action for this area. She said that each and every leading lane will be repaired and maintained, all in a phased manner. As due to shortage of labour because of COVID lockdown, the work is delayed slightly, she added.
The local residents of the area thanked Choudhary for solving their long pending problem of old pipes in the area as soon these old pipes will be replaced with new ones. Ward No 42 is known for having very minimal power and water supply issues. That is due to diligence of Choudhary, all the ward issues are handled at a priority.
The residents appreciated Sanitary Supervisor Subash Gill for uninterrupted work service in this area. Residents also thanked Choudhary's for their idea of appraising the sanitation staff regularly. |
