Jammu, July 18: In order to put in place all the possible steps to prevent the spread of deadly Corona Virus in Kishtwar District after it reported 12 community cases in last few days, District Administration Kishtwar after re-imposing the restrictions in the District on opening of shops as well as on public transportation today declared Chatroo and Drabshalla areas as red zones following surfacing of various COVID positive cases from these areas. As per the details available with Early Times, all the areas in Drabshalla Tehsil except National Highway has been sealed and entry of all the people to Drabshalla market has been blocked.
Following the imposition of restrictions as well as declaring of Drabshalla as Red Zone, the committee headed by Tehsildar Drabshalla Arun Sharma has been constituted to implement the directions passed by the District Magistrate.
As per the order, Nakka at Drabshalla entry point has been strengthened to check the movement of the people as well as the vehicles entering in the District.
Similar efforts were also put in at Chatroo from where COVID Positive cases were reported from the community including that of vegetable vendor and chemist.
Meanwhile DC Kishtwar in another order had directed that no petrol pump owner/operator shall sell/provide petrol/diesel to any customer who is wearing face mask.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar has been directed to implement the order in letter and spirit.
