Early Times Report

Jammu, July 18: SERVING TO EMPOWER is not just the Moto but we at JK Bank live to it. In the present prevailing unfavorable conditions due to the outbreak of Covid Pandemic, our work force like a true warrior has not missed a single opportunity to serve our society. The human capital of our bank is the force behind this dedication. We start our day with the commitment that not a single customer of ours who enters our branch premises is returned without being attended and addressed. For want of procedural compliance we can be late but it is not never. We are committed to the flagship programme of Atam Nirbhar Bharat announced by the Prime Minister and also the different Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) programs rolled over by Govt. of India and the Govt. of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, but at the same time through the medium of this statement we appeal to our customers to visit our branches only in case of urgency. All the digital channels mPay, eBank, Mobile Banking, Debt Card, Credit Card, RuPay Card are available 24X7 as per the convenience. We will appreciate that our customer be always addressed as ‘JK BANK CUSTOMER’ and not the ‘COVID CARRIER’. The safety & security of our customers is the top priority.
JKBOA Jammu is worried and concerned with regard to the health of our colleagues working in the present odd circumstances. With the countrywide unlock-down the economy is limping back to normalcy and with every passing day the foot wall in the branch premises is increasing. So, now the guidelines announced vide various Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) should be followed religiously.
The Bank has issued various circulars with regard to SOPs and we appeal to all our colleagues to follow these circulars and the guidelines issued by the MHA Govt. of India, the UT Govt. of Jammu& Kashmir and the respective District Administrations without falling to any kind of rumors in the market. The Battle with the Covid is a long time war and we have to learn and adopt the art of living with it. Prevention is better than any other vaccine and till the availability of the same we have to stick to the basics, the same principals followed during Lockdown have to be repeated and adopted in our daily life at our work place/branches, to support the return to normalcy
For the convenience of our colleagues we are sharing with you the list of office bearers who are available round the clock to help & support the Covid infected. Moreover all the staff members please feel free to provide your feedback with regard to combating the spread of Corona Virus.
