Kavinder reviewed status of issuance of Domicile Certificates

Jammu , July 18: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, visited SDM Office, Gadigarh, in Gandhi Nagar Constituency and enquired from Tehsildar South Harjeet Singh, about the progress of issuance of Domicile Certificates in favour of residents of the area.
Kavinder Gupta was informed that those approaching with relevant documents for the purpose are issued said certificates without any delay and that 4000 Domicile Certificates have been issued till date.
Kavinder Gupta appreciated his efforts in discharging his duties and expressed hope that the Tehsildar shall continue his efforts to solve the problems of the needy people.
Kavinder also visited the Office of Tehsildar, Bahu, Rohit Sharma. During his interaction with the inhabitants, he enquired the difficulties and problems faced by them and was satisfied with the public dealing of the Tehsilda and praised him for doing his duty. He also handed over Domicile Certificates to the applicants present on the occasion.
Ankush Gupta District General Secretary, Jaideep Sharma JMC Councilor and Hardev Singh, Vice Chairman Cantonment Board, Bharat Bhushan, President Satwari Mandal, Pitamber Sharma, Ashok, Maan Singh, Lucky, Sanchet and others accompanied him during this visit.
Later, Kavinder Gupta visited Ward no.47 of the Constituency, where Bawe Wali Mata Mandir Market Shopkeepers and Rehriwalas Association apprised him the problems being faced by them during Covid 19 pandemic period. Kavinder immediately contacted JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta on telephone and apprised the problems faced by the shopkeepers and Rehriwalas. The Mayor assured to solve the problems at an earliest and the association members thanked Kavinder Gupta for his on the spot and immediate action.
Kavinder also visited various localities in Bahu Fort and adjoining areas. He was accompanied by senior officers of PHE, PWD and allied departments to take note of the necessary work required to upgrade the basic infrastructure in the locality, including construction/ repair of lanes, drains, roads, provision of drinking water and regular supply of electricity. BJP leaders Ankush Gupta, Jammu District General Secretary, Vivek Patyal, District Secretary, Sumit Bajrangi and others accompanied him.
