7/18/2020 11:52:17 PM
Early Times Report

NAGROTA, July 18: Expressing utter disappointment over the visit of Union Council of Ministers to Jammu and Kashmir, the BDC Chairperson Block Dansal Reena Thappa termed it as a futile exercise since not even a single demand committed with the people has been fulfilled.
While interacting with people here, Reena Thappa said that as part of Union Government's Public Outreach Programme, Union Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey had visited various Panchayats of Block Dansal, Jammu and listened to issues and concerns of people of the areas.
She mentioned that the Block residents apprised the Union Minister about their concern with regard to setup Munsiff Court in Block Dansal as the residents have to travel Jammu city on daily basis for legal assistance and remedial actions by covering a journey over three hours and by spending an amount of upto Rs 200 as travelling expenses.
The BDC Chairperson mentioned that the Munsiff Courts are already working in Bishnah, R S Pura and Akhnoor of District Jammu which are situated not more than 30 Kilometres from Jammu Court complex, whereas the area in Dansal Block, the resident are facing step motherly treatment by the government by not establishing a Munsiff Court.
The BDC Chairperson appealed to the Lt Governor GC Murmu and the Chief Justice of J&K High Court to consider the long pending demand of the people of Block Dansal by setting up a Munsiff Court at Headquarter Dansal so that the public of the area would get the benefits of judicial set up for legal purpose and may not face any inconvenience with regard to legal remedies.
