| MGNREGA employees demand absorption/regularization in RDD | | |

JAMMU, Aug 24: All J&K MGNREGA Employees Association J&K UT urged the Government to resolve its long pending demand of the absorption/regularization against the vacant posts lying in Rural Development Department (RDD).
The Association said that the employees working under the MGNREGA Scheme in Rural Development Department as Programme Officers, Technical Assistant, Gram Rozgar Sahayak, MIS Operator, Data Entry Operator are still waiting for their regularizations and are working without job security and other incentives from last 14 years as a result of which the employees working under MGNREGA are in mental trauma. The whole leadership of MGNREGA Employees Association J&K UT pleaded the genuine case of the MGNREGA workers before Government and Rural Development Department and framed a proposal in 2018 regarding absorption/regularization of MGNREGA employees but unfortunately the final approval is still gathering dust in Civil Secretariat which needs to be issued so that the MGNREGA employees could heave a sigh of relief. Amit Mishra, Provincial President All J&K MGNREGA Employees Association, Province Jammu and whole team of MGNREGA employees of J&K UT urged upon the Govt and made an appeal to the Lt Governor of J&K UT, Chief Secretary, Advisor, Commissioner Secretary of Rural Development Department to have a sympathetic look towards genuine issues of the MGNREGA employees. |
