Stop befooling citizens of nation; be transparent over LAC situation: Jahanzaib
9/10/2020 12:36:50 AM
Early Times Report

KISHTWAR, Sept 9: Dr Jahanzaib Sirwal, Spokesperson Youth Congress Kishtwar today lambasted the Central Government for befooling the citizens of the nation over border tensions with China along Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh and asked government to stop deceiving the people.
In a statement issued to the press today, Sirwal said that it is the right of every citizen to know the truth regarding the actual situations going along LAC and the government is befooling its subjects by telling lies and hiding the actual danger roaming over their heads.
Youth Congress leader said that BJP led Central Government is deceiving the masses for their electoral benefits. “The continuous statements of Prime Minister, Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh over Ladakh LAC issue remained contradictory so far, which reflects the lies they put in the public domain regarding the situation since Chinese intrusion.”
He said that the Borders of the nation do not only belong to the Govt but every citizen of the nation is equally rightful to have the correct information of the ongoing situation. “Befooling and lying about LAC situation to people is no less than a betrayal to the nation,” he said and added that the situation Ladakh along LAC is tenser than it seems since the Govt had hid the truth from the day the situation arose and china intruded in our Territory.
He said that the residents living along LAD in Ladakh had said that Chinese had taken our land and after that the statement of PM, Modi stated that ‘Nobody took our land’, this is apparent that the residents won’t lie about it because they would have witnessed the actual situation which means that the statements of Central Govt. have been all lies.
He said that the government is continuously lying to the citizens of the nation to ‘Save the Image of PM Modi’ and demanded the Govt to be transparent regarding the LAC situation, and take serious steps to pull back PLA troops to China.
“To lie to the people and keep them in darkness for electoral gains, BJP led Government is betraying the nation,” he said in the statement.
