Include Punjabi, Pahari, Gojri as official language of J&K: AAP to Govt

Jammu , Sept 9: Gurmeet Singh social activist and Aam Aadmi Party leader condemns the non inclusion of Punjabi , Gojri and Pahari language from Jammu and Kashmir official language bill.
Singh said, Punjabi language was a compulsory subject like Urdu in J&K till 1981 but now it has been exclusion of J&K official language bill by the Centre.
Exclusion of Punjabi, Gojri and Pahari in J&K official language move reflects the mindset of the incumbent regime, and because of this mindset that minority community in the country feels insecure.
One side Centre Govt are talking about equality (sabka sath sabka vikas) and other side major regional languages of J&K have been ignored.
People speaking in Pahari, Gojri and Punjabi comprise one-third of J&K population and Centre decision on deliberately ignoring of languages had created strong resentment among the people’s of J&K Said Raj Kumar Nischal Coordinator AAP J&K
Inclusion of other regional languages like Dogri and Kashmiri as one of the five official languages is a welcome step but exclusion of Punjabi and other language is very disappointed , Govt should immediately include Punjabi, Pahari and Gojri as official language of J&K, said Mehar Singh Sudan Assembly Incharge Gandhi Nagar Jammu
Punjabi is one of the most spoken language in J&K and people from all community, religion, section & creed demanded that Punjabi language must be include in J&K official language, Said Amrik Singh Sasan Senior Member AAP
Exclusion of Punjabi, Pahari and Gojri language from J&K official language bill are injustice towards the Minority and others community said Sher Singh Gandhi nagar youth wing incharge.
No one have the right to destroy the rich multicultural dimension of J&K. Every language has its own significance in history and thus deserve all the recognition, Said Rohan Bedi Ward Incharge.
The government should notify Punjabi ,Gojri and Pahari language as an official language of J&K said Gurmeet Singh
