Jammu, Oct 4: Former President BJP J&K and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated registration camps for Golden cards under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PMABY) also covering Jammu Kashmir Health Card scheme at Janipur and Talab Tillo areas of Jammu West. Sharma was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, Mandal Presidents Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra, Corporators Sunita Gupta and Sat Pal Karlupia, local residents and political activists of the area.
The camp at Janipur in Ward 37, Janipur Colony, Trimurti Mandir is being organized by Corporator Sunita Gupta and in Talab Tillo, the camp is held at Ward 32 which is organized by Youth leaders Vikas Singh Lovely and Surinder Kanhaiya. Hundreds are visiting the camps to get themselves registered. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that as demanded by the inhabitants of various wards of Jammu West who were facing difficulties regarding their registration under the scheme, the camps were set up in both Mandals of Jammu West so that services could be provided to lakhs of residents.
He said that in both the camps, the people who were already registered under the scheme will be provided with their Golden cards and documents pertaining to new registration are also being collected by the Centers so that whenever the new process starts in J&K for health insurance, every resident will be covered under the same and will avail the same benefits. |
