B2V3 begins in Kishtwar across 5 blocks

KISHTWAR, Oct 7: The back to village-3 program entered into round 3 in Kishtwar district as the activities were started in the rest of 5 blocks, here.
The day was marked by series of activities like holding of ward Sabhas, Bal Sabhas, distribution of Sports Kits, inspection of ongoing developmental works , the checking of CIBs, inspection of govt establishments and the institutions at all Panchayats of Kishtwar, Trigam, Drabshalla, Inderwal and Palmar blocks.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik along with Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Amir Hussain visited village Matta whereat Additional Secretary to Public Works Department PWD, Surat Singh was visiting officer.
Various issues were highlighted by local populace like scarcity of drinking water, delay in payment of Land compensation and the issue of the road from Matta to Bera via Hargadi undertaken by R&B. etc
All the grievances were noted by the visiting officer for further course of action.
After giving patient hearing to their grievances, the ADDC assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed in time bound manner.
Meanwhile, the ADDC also inspected the containment Zone at lower Poochal area and tehsildar Kishtwar apprised him of the current situation.
He directed to ensure the availability of all essential items like food, water, fuel including the medical essentials to the public at their doorstep in the containment zone with strict adherence of COVID19 protocol.
Health authorities were directed to conduct COVID19 test at a rapid rate in the area.
