Shiv Sena takes out 38th Chhari yatra

JAMMU, Oct 16: The 38th Holy Chhari Yatra, being conducted by Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray, J&K Unit, has left for holy town Katra here today, Pooja Archna will be performed on the eve of first Navratra in the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
Hundereds of devotees left for Katra amidst chanting of Maa ka Jaikaras, carrying the holy Charri and light (Jyot) in presence of Sr party leaders & prominent persons of Jammu. While briefing media persons here today, Manish Sahni, State President, Shiv Sena informed on the auspicious occasion of first Navratra, Pooja will be performed with full traditional manner at the holy cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. Sahni strongly condemned the indifferent attitude of the Jammu and Kashmir administration for not showing its serious concern and interest over this annual event. He mentioned that Shiv Sena has carried out this Yatra for the last 37 years with the entire support of the Jammu and Kashmir administration. He expressed resentment against the Deputy commissioner & Divisional Commissioner Jammu and other Administrative Officers, who under the cover of Corona virus, did not consider Party’s request to hold a meeting for the smooth and hassle free conduct of Yatra. He said that the faith of thousands of people has been associated with this Holy Yatra and this attitude of administration was not expected.
