Dr Rameshwar provides finance assistance to needy

KATHUA, Oct 16: Dr Rameshwar Singh, Zonal Medical Officer extended helping hand to kins of a labourer, who died recently in an accident. He also took the responsibility of their education and livelihood.
“Labourer, Nazir Ahmad, (39), son of Abdul Aziz resident of Village Chandyar, Tehsil Bani in District Kathua was survived by wife and four children who were helpless without any source of income,” Dr Rameshwar said and added that he has given an amount of Rs 4,000 to the family for their basic amenities.
“I also take the responsibility of their education and will provide more assistance to the family of late Nasir in near future,” Dr Singh said and added that the people of the area are below poverty line and are mostly labourers.
This is not the first time that Dr Singh has come forward for the humanity cause and helped the people in dire need, besides he has been a go to person for the people.
Dr Singh is the ZMO posted in Tehsil Bani of District Kathua which is the remotest and most backward and uneducated area of Jammu and Kashmir UT.
Most of the people of the area move to Himachal and Delhi for sake of work hence accidental deaths are the usual occurrence and this was the fourth death of a labourer in the month of October. Dr Rameshwar has extended a helping hand to them.
Dr Rameshwar said that he will also take the responsibility of marriage of late Nazir’s daughter besides taking educational responsibility.
Dr Rameshwar Singh has always come forward and helped whether it is marriage of any poor girl, education of students and medical treatment. Even he has adopted many families after the death of their guardians.
