| Citizen Forum welcomes release of Mehbooba Mufti | | |

Jammu, Oct 16: Former State Treasurer PDP and President Citizen’s Forum R K Chadha welcomed the release of Mehbooba Mufti the President of PDP, by the center Government after a very long time. He said now Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti should start a new peaceful era for the people of Jammu and Kashmir instead of having any confrontation with the central government. We understand the humiliation received by them but for the sake of peaceful life of people they should forget and forgive.
Chadha asked from Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, is demand of restoration of article 370 more important than the peace and prosperity of people of UT.
We expect you should first work to bring stability, confidence and the glory of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir State by creating and giving trust of no confrontations. People have chosen you by giving their votes for peace and prosperity and not raising prestige issues on art.370 which can be restored after bringing normalcy.
It is not that important issue , after all other so many states are doing far better without it. This can be discussed and rationalized with the center. I will remind you that Jammu has unnecessarily being suffering because of Problems in Kashmir and when demands or issues are raised you conveniently forget the people of Jammu region which are part of Jammu and Kashmir, the state you have been ruling. |
