| GeM portal registration: MSMEs unit holders of Doda imparted training | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Oct 16: An online training programme was today held to impart hands-on training to MSME unit holders about the procedure of registration on the GeM portal through Industries & Commerce department.
Over 165 unit holders connected with Industries department participated in the training process , while 100 others connected through a link in the training programme from different locations.
According to General Manager, District Industries Centre, Dr Khalid Malik, said that the objective of the training programme is to evolve a fair and transparent system. Officers and officials of DIC Doda, AD Handicrafts, AD Handloom, CTO Doda (Commercial Tax Officer) & Zonal head JK Bank also participated in the online training programme.
Registration on GeM portal as seller will provide the MSME(Micro and Small Medium Enterprises) a platform of fair competitiveness which will not only ease the buying / selling process but will also make it more transparent and accountable . JK Bank also presented a power point presentation on NPAs and their resolutions, while the Commercial Tax department made the unit holders aware about the importance of GST-registration, procedures for re-imbursement & benefits of filing returns.
