Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament concluded at Ramban 11/3/2020 11:59:03 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Nov 03: In commemoration of police martyrs day a cricket tournament under the banner police flag day was organised by Ramban police. This tournament based on knockout system commenced on 26th of November and more then twenty teams from all over the district participated in it. Chandrog eleven emerged as champions after defeating the kings eleven sunari by more then hundred runs. Waseem of chandrog eleven was declared as man of the series. It is pertinent to mention here that this tournament is a part of ten days sports activities programme conducted under the banner of police flag day to commemorate the police martyrs day. While speaking on the occasion the chief guest Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban Haseeb ur Rehman said that this ten day long sports activities programme being conducted at Ramaban is a mark of tribute to our fallen brethren who have made supreme sacrifices to uphold the sovereignty, security and integrity of our nation. And it has always been an endeavour of jammu and kashmir police to provide the best possible platform to our youth to mainfest their talents.
