JAMMU, Nov 5: Continuing with drive against drug peddlers, police on Thursday arrested two persons with contraband of intoxicants at Lakhanpur in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources here said that two persons smuggling haul of contraband were nabbed with more than 10,000 intoxicant capsules and nearly 4500 syrup bottles. "The intoxicants were being smuggled from the neighbouring state for selling among youth in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir," said police sources. Police however, have registered a case and started the investigation. |
