JAMMU, Nov 12: R.M. Public School celebrated Diwali cum Children's Day.
As we all know that Diwali is an occasion to celebrate victory over defeat, light over darkness, awareness over ignorance, an occasion to celebrate life.
It also coincides with harvest and new year celebration, is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness.
Like Diwali, children also carry the hopes for our brighter tomorrow and the dreams of our happy future. Both the days we celebrated in the school's premises by following the Covid-19 preventive measures.
The function starts with the lightening of lamp. Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Trustee Reeta Mengi and the guests from sister concern were welcomed by the staff members of R.M.Public School. Staff members presented handmade cards, bouquets as a token of love to Chairman, Trustee Mam and Guests. Staff members performed the cultural items on that special day.
