JAMMU, Nov 12: In an initiative to provide on spot Domicile certificates to residents of Jammu West, a camp was organized at Vishwakarma Sabha, Bakshi Nagar, Ward 28 where hundreds of people visited the camp from various areas and within minutes they were provided with their Domicile Certificates after filling their forms. The camp was started by former President BJP J&K Sat Sharma (CA). He was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, Naib Tehsildar Jammu Khas Kuldeep Singh, District General Secretaries Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma and Mandal President BJP Raveesh Mengi. The camp was organized by District Spokesperson Ravi Kant Sharma and Vishwakarma Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma lauded the efforts of revenue department including Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar Jammu Khas for providing their services at the doorsteps of public and putting away people from chaos type situations. He said our team in all 26 wards of Jammu West have been working on ground and visiting door to door personally to fill up the Domicile forms of public and till date thousands of certificates have been provided to the masses in Jammu West. He also appreciated the efforts of Jammu West team for organizing such a camp and appealed to the masses to get themselves registered for Domicile.
Munish Khajuria said in coming days on spot Domicile camps will be organized in every nook and corner of Jammu West so that the people who have not registered themselves can easily access the facility that will be provided to them at their doorsteps.
