Jammu, Nov 18: CHILDLINE Jammu (Nodal) Organization, Department of Law, University of Jammu, celebrated the CHILDLINE Se Dosti week with the children at Child care Institution for Blind children at Roop Nagar Jammu.
The purpose of the event was made aware the Children about the CHILDLINE and its services protection against COVID-19.
CHILDLINE celebrates every from 14th to 21th CHILDLINE Se-Dosti week with different Stake holders of CHILDLINE Jammu. During the event the participants were made aware about COVID 19, Guidelines, CHILDLINE and its services in Jammu region. They were also encouraged to follow the Guidelines for protection against the COVID 19.They aware how to wash hands frequently, use of sanitizers and face masks.
As the experts have issued the new warning signals that the second wave may infect the people during the winter season as well. So it becomes imperative to follow the COVID 19 Guidelines properly. They were urged to call on 1098 number if they need any assistance from CHILDLINE. It is also pertinent to mention that CHILDLINE is a project of Ministry of women and Child Development, Government of India. During the programme, ration kits were also distributed among the children in order to fulfil their nutritional needs. Apart from this, children were also made aware of their rights. The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Kulwant Singh Nodal Director/HoD Law, University of Jammu. |
