UDHAMPUR, Dec 02: Politicians and others are openly violating COVID-19 norms during political meetings and rallies in Udhampur.
In many public meetings addressed by the politicians people are seen violating social distancing and not wearing face masks.
It is pertinent to mention here that some areas of district Udhampur were red zone few months back and district administration and health department had to put in of efforts to restore normalcy in the area.
"If such violations in political meetings continue, we fear another COVID wave can reach our district," a retired school teacher said.
People demanded strict action should be taken against the politicians in whose rallies and meetings COVID-19 norms are being violated. |
