| Plus Two Lecturers' Forum demands creation of deputation posts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 6: Monthly meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum was held through virtual mode under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma wherein the forum demanded creation of Deputation/ Reserve Posts in School Education Department and discussed other burning issues pertaining to Plus Two community threadbare.
Deepak Sharma said that there is a great disparity between in-position strength and sanctioned posts as considerable number of Joint Directors and equivalents, CEOs and equivalents, Principals and Lecturers have been deputed to JKBOSE, Samagra Shiksha and other offices on different assignments without actual creation of posts thereby leading to a loss of considerable period of service rendered in incharge capacity at the time of regularisation and demanded creation of 10 to 25 percent Deputation/Reserve posts in School Education Department on the analogy of other departments of UT of J&K to end the discrimination. Deepak Sharma informed the house that Forum delegation has already apprised the Administrative Secretary BK Singh last fortnight about the hampering of smooth functioning of SED due to vacancies of Joint Directors, twenty plus vacancies of CEOs/DIET Principals, and more than 250 vacant positions of Principals of Higher Secondary Schools in J&K and sorry state of affairs about unadjustment of Joint Directors even after lapse of more than three months of their promotion order and non availability of even a single Regularised Principal for promotion as CEO and equivalent. Forum demanded Promotion lists/adjustments and Regularisation of all incharge incumbents/ retirees at all levels right from lecturer to Joint Director on fast track basis. |
