JKPCC condemns withdrawal of security vehicle of state president
12/9/2020 11:04:43 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 9: JKPCC has taken strong note of the withdrawal of security vehicle of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee President and questioned the fairness of the government to the ongoing elections.
In a hard hitting statement, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that the security vehicle of JKPCC president has been recalled during the ongoing elections which speaks of the fairness of the government and it's intention to deprive the opposition congress to campaign in the elections.
Urging election commission to act and exercise it's authority as the security agencies are hell bent to favour the ruling party in this manner, JKPCC said that the this exposes the hollow claims of the government to provide due security to all at least during elections.
He said that even the senior AICC leader Rajni Patil was not provided any security during her tour today. Except one PSO, no proper security was provided to her. AICC secretary and former minister Sudhir Sharma too was accompanying her. He took exception that the election commission failed to ensure that the security of top leaders of congress is reviewed and during elections, as assured. He said that rather security of senior leaders was further downgraded on the eve elections and during elections, which is unfortunate and condemnable.
He urged the Lt governor to take notice of these things and ensure fairness of the system. Sharma further asked election commission to take serious notice of MCC violations and attempts to indulge in electoral malpractices by the ruling party especially after the vehicle with solar lights was seized in Sunderbani areas.
