Dharmarth Trust employees stage protest, stir enters 7th day
12/9/2020 11:05:41 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Dec 9: Dharmarth Trust employees continued their protest demonstration for the 7th consecutive day followed by dharna, demanding constitution of the Shrine Board for all the temples under Dharmarth Trust.
The employees working in different units of the Trust participated in protest dharna.
All the employees decided in one voice to intensify the agitation and go on indefinite strike from December 11 if management failed to consider the employees demands.
They claimed that protest shall continue till the demands are met.
The strike was launched under the banner of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) in support of their genuine long pending demands and against the dictatorial and adamant attitude of the Trust management in which employees from various units of the Trust such as Shri Raghunath ji Mandir, Hari Bhawan Purmandal, Uttar Behani, Birpur Central office Karan Bhawan participated.
The employees alleged that instead of holding talks negotiation to settle the long pending demands of the employees, the Trust management suspended the Association president , general secretary and other office bearers with malafide intentions to harass, victimise and crush the trade union activities. It has created strong resentment, discontentment among low paid employees.
