JAMMU, Dec 10: Government Degree College (GDC), Billawar celebrated Human Rights Day by organizing a special lecture to mark the occasion.
The event was started by the welcome address by Principal, GDC Billawar, Prof Sunil Uppal, where he welcomed Dr Navneet Kour for sparing her valuable time to speak on the occasion of Human Rights Day.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Navneet Kour highlighted the importance of Human Rights especially in this time of pandemic and encourages students and staff members of college to work for weaker and marginal section of society. She also elaborated and suggested pathways to remove various social evils from society.
Further a pleadge was taken on Human Rights by the college faculty members and students.
The whole programme was organised under the overall supervision of Prof Sunil Uppal, Principal GDC Billawar and coordinated by Prof Yash Paul, Covernor Skill Courses and
IQAC team members, Co-assisted by Prof Rajni Kumari, Prof Sindhu Kotwal, Prof Anil
