Army organises conclave for future achiever

JAMMU, Dec 10: A conclave on the local achievers of the area was conducted by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of the area at Govt High School, Salwah.
During the conclave, the attendees were informed about the four prominent personalities of their area who have overcome all odds in their lives while staying in the same area and became famous personalities. These localities include four personnel including two doctors namely Dr Shahzad Malik and Dr Shakeel Ahmed.
Dr Shahzad Malik is an alumnus of Govt School Kashbalari and completing his doctorate, he rose to the position of Vice Chancellor, Sai Nath University, Agra. On the other hand, Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Asst Prof, Govt Degree College, Mendhar has published more than 15 books in the field of polymers, nano material and green material. His articles have been published in international publications like Elsevier, CRC Press, Wiley etc.
Achievements of Amir Bashir, and his sister Rehana Bashir, were also highlighted as belonging to village Salwah only. The conclave emphasised the youth about the importance of education, hard work and opportunities available to shine bright in future and become cynosure to motivate others. Indian Army assured assistance at all times to help and guide the local youth for their overall growth. The locals applauded the initiative of introducing their own famous personalities to motivate present youth of their village and surrounding areas.
