12/10/2020 11:59:50 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 10: SS Pathania President Sainik Samaj Party, JKUT expressed his pain and anguish, on the faceoff between government and farmers, hoping for an early resolution.
He urged the union governrnent as well as farmer's leaders, to resolve the conflict, through constructive negotiation, without being obstinate. Government must be large hearted and suitably amend its mistake of bringing the bill, in such a great haste, in form of an ordinance, when nation is facing the covid 19, and its harbinger, treacherous China. Farmers play a predominate role in developments and taking the nation forward, and as such cannot be ignored.
They have been getting a rough deal since independence, from successive governments and exploited by various governments for vote bank politics. No doubt that all three bills brought out by the government, has few anomalies, which must be removed to restore the faith of farmers. After various rounds of talks, government has shown its willingness to resolve the issue, and one of the main concerns of MSP, government has agreed to put in the bill in writing. Govt has also assured that other anomalies too will be addressed positively. Farmer's leaders too should not be adamant on scrapping the entire bills, but use this opportunity, to ensure that interest of the farmers is ensured.
